Hi, I'm Kara. My background is in publishing and education. I was a bookseller at a terrific indie bookstore outside of Boston before I moved back to San Diego. After I was more or less unpacked, I went looking for my local independent bookstore, and discovered there wasn't one near me. And I need it. I think lots of us do! So I'm building our neighborhood bookstore and gathering place.
